FAQ

Questions, answered.

What are your kitchen cabinets made of?

All of our cabinets are made with real wood for extended durability. We don't use particle board like some cabinet installers. It just doesn't hold up to moisture or stress like real wood does. The cabinet doors are engineered to repel moisture naturally, so there's no need to maintain them with oil. Just wash them with a soft rag and some water.

What if I want to install my own cabinets?

You can install your own cabinets, but we don't recommend it unless you have the right training and tools. Cabinets can be very tricky to install, and you don’t want to spend all that money on beautiful cabinetry just to mess up the installation. Plus, installing cabinets yourself could void the manufacturer’s warranty. We have a team that specializes in cabinet installation. Trust us, it’s worth the peace of mind.

Can I select my cabinet accessories?

Yes, of course! We have a selection of knobs, pulls, and handles available, but you're also free to select and purchase your own. Have them ready when we install your cabinets, and our team will drill the holes for these pulls and install them for you.

What are the different types of kitchen cabinets available?

There are two main types: stock, and custom. Stock cabinets are pre-manufactured in standard sizes and are the most affordable. Custom cabinets are made to order, offering the most flexibility in design, materials, and sizes.

How can I maximize storage in my kitchen cabinets?

Consider installing pull-out drawers, lazy Susans, and built-in organizers. Utilizing vertical space with tall cabinets and installing over-the-cabinet racks can also increase storage capacity. Custom storage solutions tailored to specific items, like spice racks or utensil dividers, can help keep the kitchen organized.

What budget should I anticipate for new kitchen cabinets?

The cost varies widely based on the type of cabinets (stock, custom), material, and the size of your kitchen. Stock cabinets can be the most budget-friendly option, while custom cabinets are the most expensive. It's essential to set a realistic budget that includes installation costs and to consider that cabinets typically consume a significant portion of a kitchen remodeling budget.
