Full Size Slab Countertops

A full slab is a complete, uncut piece of stone as it comes from the quarry or manufacturer. Because nothing has been pre-cut, it can be fabricated to your exact layout, including large islands and custom shapes, with fewer seams.

Prefab countertops are pre-cut to standard sizes, which works well for many kitchens and baths. Full slabs are cut to your measurements, so they are the better choice for oversized islands, full-height backsplashes, book-matched pieces and slab shower walls.

Yes. Walk the warehouse, compare full slabs side by side and select the specific slab that will be fabricated for your countertops, backsplash or shower.

A full slab lets you cover a large island in one continuous piece, avoiding seams across the top. It also keeps veining and color consistent from end to end.

Book-matching uses two slabs cut in sequence from the same block. The second slab is flipped like the page of a book so the veining mirrors across the seam, creating a symmetrical pattern.

Quartz is an engineered surface made from crushed natural quartz and resin, so its color and pattern are consistent. Quartzite is a natural stone formed from sandstone under heat and pressure, and every slab is unique.
