FAQ

We answer your bathroom remodeling questions.

Start your bath remodel right.

What part of my remodel does Superior handle?

We'll handle the demo and removal of your current bathroom vanity, along with the installation of your new bathroom vanity and sink. Our team also handles the plumbing and electrical work, so everything for your project gets done at the right time in the process.

How do I prep my bathroom for installation?

If you currently have a bathroom vanity, remove everything currently inside of it or on top of it. Turn off the water, and then disconnect the sink and any other plumbing. Our team will let you know what you need to do in advance of the plumbing and electrical work on your shower, toilet, outlets, and more.

What bathroom design trends are popular right now?

Many homeowners are putting their bathroom vanity at the center of their bathroom renovations. By pairing together high-quality cabinets with a granite or quartz countertop, they're creating both a functional and beautiful space in their bathroom.

Which countertop material holds up best in a Phoenix bathroom?

Granite and quartz both perform well in Valley bathrooms, and the choice comes down to maintenance preference and look. Granite is natural stone and most slabs benefit from periodic sealing, which matters more where hard water is constant. Most quartz rarely needs sealing, though a few newer products do recommend it, so check the specific line.

What bathroom upgrades do Phoenix buyers notice most?

The vanity does more work than anything else in the room. A dated vanity with a worn top reads as deferred maintenance; a well-built cabinet with a stone counter reads as a cared-for home. After that, buyers notice the shower, the flooring and the lighting. Hard water spotting on glass and fixtures carries extra weight in Phoenix.

Which bathroom should I remodel first if I can only do one?

Start with the bathroom whose condition is costing you something today. If the master has a cramped shower, a failing vanity or poor lighting you fight every morning, fix that one and get the benefit daily rather than only at resale. If the guest bath is what visitors and children actually use, or it is visibly dated, start there instead.

Does a master bathroom or a guest bathroom have better ROI?

It depends which return you mean. On percentage of cost recouped, the smaller midrange project usually wins, and that is more often the guest bath. Recent Cost vs. Value data puts a midrange bath remodel near 80 percent recouped nationally, while upscale primary-suite work lands closer to 30 to 50 percent. On total dollars added and on buyer perception, the master wins.
