Proud to Support Folds of Honor at the Urban Complex 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Superior Stone & Cabinet  |  June 2026

At Superior Stone & Cabinet, we believe a great community is built on more than beautiful kitchens and bathrooms. It's built on the people who show up for one another. That's why we were honored to participate in the Urban Complex 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament, a fundraiser benefiting Folds of Honor, a nonprofit dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America's fallen or disabled service members and first responders.

The tournament was held at The Legacy Golf Resort in the Phoenix metro area, bringing together local businesses, contractors, and community partners for a day of friendly competition and meaningful giving. Urban Complex, a Phoenix-based general contractor and longtime community partner, has made this event an annual tradition, and the 2026 edition was its biggest yet.

What Is Folds of Honor?

Founded in 2007 by Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, a U.S. Air Force F-16 fighter pilot and PGA professional: Folds of Honor was born from a simple but powerful conviction: when a service member falls or is disabled in defense of our freedoms, their family shouldn't face the future alone.

The organization has since expanded its reach to include the families of fallen and disabled first responders (police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics) recognizing that the courage to serve takes many forms. Through private K–12 tuition assistance, college scholarships, and support for trade and technical schools, Folds of Honor opens doors that might otherwise remain closed to the children and spouses left behind.

Those numbers represent real families, kids who stayed in school, spouses who launched new careers, and households that found a measure of stability after unimaginable loss. That's a cause worth swinging a club for.

How Superior Stone & Cabinet Got Involved

We were proud to join Urban Complex and a great group of Phoenix-area businesses on the course. Our team participated in the tournament and was honored to support the event as a hole sponsor, hosting a branded tent on the fairway and connecting with golfers throughout the day.

Hole sponsor tents kept things lively out on the course all day.

Raffle tickets, mulligans, and smiles at the registration table, all proceeds benefiting Folds of Honor.

Beyond the financial contribution, it was simply a great day. The atmosphere at The Legacy Golf Resort was upbeat and purposeful. There's something uniquely meaningful about sharing a fairway with people who care about the same things you do (neighbors, contractors, small business owners) all united around a mission that's bigger than any of us.

Community Is at the Core of Who We Are

Since 2006, Superior Stone & Cabinet has called the Phoenix metro home. We've helped thousands of Arizona families transform their kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces into places they love, and through it all, we've been grateful for the opportunity to serve this community. Events like the Urban Complex Charity Golf Tournament remind us that being a good neighbor means more than delivering a great countertop or a beautiful cabinet installation. It means showing up.

We're proud to work alongside Urban Complex, a contractor whose commitment to quality work and community values mirrors our own. Their dedication to growing this tournament year over year, and choosing Folds of Honor as its beneficiary, reflects exactly the kind of partnership that makes Phoenix a great place to live and do business.
